Crispy Bacon with Sour Cream Onion on Ciabatta Demi Baguette
Turn ordinary onion slices into spectacular topping on a baguette!
Ingredients:
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup sour cream, full fat
Salt
Pepper, coarse grind
1/2 Ciabatta Demi Baguette, sliced length way
1 slice of Thick cut bacon, cut in 1" width
2 tbsp of Parmigiano-reggiano Romano cheese blend, grated
- Marinate thinly sliced onion with salt and pepper by putting them in a jar and shake them. Distribute seasoning evenly. Leave it in a jar for 2 minutes.
- Add sour cream in a jar. Mix well. Leave it for 10 minutes.
- Preheat oven at 385F°.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place ciabatta bread cut side up on parchment paper. Spread marinated onion on each bread. Top with bacon pieces.
- Sprinkle grated cheese on top of bacon.
- Bake at 385F° for 17 minutes.
