I searched on the internet about Dodecagon quilt prior to the purchase of epp papers but all I saw was a cover of Quilt Mania magazine #131. Scrappy looking Dodecagons on solid white background. I didn't like how Dodecagon blocks were laid out. I started to sketch my own layout immediately.

I considered cutting my own Dodecagon paper pieces but I didn't. Instead, I pulled Guicy Guice Redux line and Quantum line fabric and gave color assignment for each section. I started to cut the fabric for hexies while I waited for the Dodecagon papers to arrive.

The name Dodecagon for this block bother me to this day. Mathemetically correct name should be Triacontagon as it has 30 points, not 12. But who's counting?
