Color your own fabric using black tea

Using bleached wide cotton fabric, I'm going to die it with loose leaf black tea.

3 litters of hot water

3oz of black tea, full leaf

3 tbsp of salt, prevent color to run

3 cups of milk, protein helps color to set

116" of bleached white wide cotton fabric, soaked in cold milk and rinsed

1. Steep tea in boiling hot water for 30 minutes with cover on.
2. Soak fabric in tea concentrate for __hours. By this time, tea is cold to the touch.
3. Rinse well under cold running water.
4. Let it dry. For darker finish, repeat steps 1-3.
